Stormy Pete Speed Stunt Kite

“SPEED” Sport/Stunt kites are a different type of dual line kite altogether. Popular in Europe, SPEED Sport Kites are not designed for “slack line” tricks but have been designed to achieve great speeds. The “Stormy Pete” is an excellent introduction into SPEED 2 line kiting. HQ Kites has several “SPEED” kites and the “Stormy Pete” is the least expensive of their lineup...BUT... it can attain speeds equal to their much larger “Whizz”. If you have a “ need for speed” then I would highly recommend the “Stormy Pete”. If you are curious about “SPEED” Sport Kites check out the YouTube ZEN SENSE video about “Speed Sport/Stunt Kites”. I checked out the speed of my “Stormy Pete” with a (borrowed) Police Radar gun and it clocked in at 61 mph with a wind of 19mph! Bottom line: if you are interested in some adrenaline release then the Stormy Pete at your favorite beach or field will fit the Bill.

Lots of wind equals lots of fun. When those gusts say whoa stormy Pete says let's go! Not a trickster but did not miss it with all that speed. A great thrill and solid construction.
