Great kite

This kite is great in variable winds. It tumbles easily and requires you to pay attention. It does pull hard in winds over 15mph so 90 lb line is a must. Appears well made, assembling isn’t too hard even in windy conditions. I am happy with it.

Climbs Straight Up!

This is a big wind kite. Loves it, Uses wind as fuel to climb like a rocket. Pulls hard! Which I find to be fun. Good looking kite too. Extremely well made, easy to assemble the six spars. An attention grabber for sure and it can lift line laundry, or you can add a loop yourself and fly it with very long tails. That is what I do. This is the fourth kite that I purchased from KItty Hawk kites. I have had it for years, fly it a lot, and it still looks new, even after a couple of crashes due to a broken line. If you buy it make sure you use the recommended line. Kite does not come with line, reel, or tails.

Sat down, put together, up it went, didn’t have to stand up. Very windy on Galveston beach. Strong pull, line was singing, Attach line before assembly. Buy it!

Beautiful!

This kite has a very nice presence in the sky...flies rock solid in a steady wind! I was expecting some squirreliness, as many celluar kites have, but not this one. Make sure you assemble it outside...it won't fit through some doors! I did have the kite collapse in very gusty winds...a dip in the ocean! A quick shower and some drying out, and up it went, none the worse for wear. Highly recommend it!

Awesome!!!

I just got back from Cape May NJ with this kite. It was awesome. It's so easy to assemble, my 6 yr old can do it. It was also really easy to launch. I got many compliments on it. It's really easy to "play" with it. I kept pulling in a good amount of line and then just letting it go so the kite took up the slack. You should see it tumble and drop, and then it picks up the wind again with ease. It gave my arms a little bit of a workout. You definitely need 90 lb (or more) string. I wasn't even flying it on an extremely windy day, and it has a good amount of "pull." Overall I LOVE THIS KITE.
