Hoffmann's Canard Delta Kite
About the Designer
Born in 1964, Rainer Hoffmann discovered his addiction to Kiteflying during 1986 in St. Peter Ording. After building his first "regular" kite he quickly proceeded with his own unique designs. He finished 1st place several times during the German Championships since 1997 and already publishes his own assembly manuals. All kites of Rainer Hoffmann truly convince through tremendous creativity and beautiful designs.
Skill Level: Beginner (14+)
Kite Size: 116" W x 65" L
Wind Range: 4-18 mph
Fabric: Ripstop Polyester
Recommended Line: 100-150 lb polyester line recommended (kite line is NOT included)
I just got my Hoffmann’s Canard Delta today from Kitty Hawk Kites. The assembly is easy—just four spars to insert and attach—and all the line came tied perfectly. I got 150# line and I’m glad I did as it has considerable pull even in moderate winds. This kite is a rock-steady flier and the LONG tails look very dramatic in the sky. So easy to fly I would recommend it to anyone, but it does pull a bit too hard for young children.
I ordered this and it was delivered in a very timely manner. I was able to assemble it quite easily and it's HUGE! Unfortunately, I have not flown it yet, been tied up with other stuff, but I'm certain I will love it! And, to top it all off, it was the best price I was able to find anywhere online.
Thanks Kitty Hawk Kites!
Great kite and excellent service. Thank you Kirsten!😊
The post office was slow---sent February 15, arrived March2----so that was something, but not your fault. UPS is probably more reliable.
Kite was everything I expected. Works fine needs a little more wind than I anticipated but no prob. love it quick delivery and quality product.
Along with my other Hoffmann kite, which is a Bow Kite, as well as a Xelon Kite, it is a great looking kite that is sure to bring attention on the beaches or in the fields when flying it.
