SpinBox 36 Inch Rotating Box Kite - Cosmetic Defect

It's definitely a very interesting kite to fly. Super easy to assemble and get into the air when the wind is strong enough. The spinning is nice to watch but because the surface area is constantly moving/spinning it does not go very high and the more line you let out the farther away it goes as opposed to higher. I am buying a standard triangle kite next as I want to let the kite out and attach it to my chair while I sit at the beach. The spinner kite needs more attention but I am looking forward to flying it in a strong wind!

I ordered this kite along with a couple cool dragon kites as holiday gift for my nephews. We live in NW Oregon so the winter months at the coast are pretty predictably windy, sometimes too windy. This spinner box kite was incredible once we had sufficient wind to let it soar (just a decent sustained wind; gusts wouldn’t cut it). The rotation was mesmerizing even on a cloudy day. We received several compliments from passers by.
My 11 year old nephew and adults were able to fly it easily.
I would certainly recommend this kite to novice fliers with good wind. The products I ordered arrived perfectly packaged and more quickly than I had expected pre-Christmas- Covid.
