As a pure beginner, I can say it was a lot of fun when it was up in the air, but 20 minutes in I broke frame from trying to learn in rough winds

I picked this kite up at KHK on Valentines weekend and took my girlfriend up onto Jockey's Ridge. It was easily a 15-20 knot day, but it only took us two minutes to get it unwound, assembled, and in the air. She had never ever flown a 2-line kite and was very quickly pulling loops and nose dives. I'm over 200lbs and this kite provided enough pull to yank me around and keep me smiling. The handholds are comfortable, the winder convenient, and the storage bag very sturdy. 

A word of warning: Even though this kite is built SO much heavier (better) than the cheapo ones at the chain box stores, this kite can move superfast in heavy wind and if you don't watch your nose dives, a hard hard hard crash can crack the fiberglass spine. But that's my fault and not the kites'. So A++ to Eric for getting me back on the dunes and flying again. Thumbs up!
