Quad Handles offer far greater control than a bar!  For recreational power kiting, you will want to get this kite with the quad handles.  For kite traction, using a harness and getting pulled on a board, you will want the Beamer TSR 3.6 with the control bar.

Quad handles allow you to do many more "stunts" with the kite.  Propeller spins, reverse launching, and much more are possible.
